Industrial door design
The industrial door leaf is made of 500 and 610 mm high hot-dip galvanized steel panels. 40 mm thick panels are filled with Freon-free polyurethane foam. On the outside, panels are painted or veneered. All panels are finished with galvanized steel fittings and aluminium profiles. The bottom panel features weatherstrip seal. The top panel seal could be lintel-mounted or top-panel-mounted. In addition, the industrial door has a circumferential sealing system that protects the garage interior against uncontrolled heat loss, moisture and wind. At panel joints, a finger protection system is used to protect against finger trapping. The shape of tracks prevents unwanted movement of bearing rollers, which improves safety. Nitus sectional industrial doors meet the requirements of PN-EN 13241-1 European standard concerning the safety in use.

Types of tracks
Industrial sectional doors are available with five types of tracks that can be adapted to the specifics and installation conditions of every building. Opening of the door is assisted by torsion springs with standard lifespan of 20 thousand cycles. Upon request, springs with extended lifespan can be supplied.
Standard tracks (S) - minimum lintel height is 420 mm
High tracks (H) - minimum lintel height is 600 mm
Low tracks, torsion springs at the front (F) - minimum lintel height is 350 mm
Tracks at an angle (K) - minimum lintel height is 450 mm for a ≤ 10° or minimum 500 mm for 10° < a ≤ 30°
Vertical tracks (V) - minimum lintel height is H + 600 mm

Industrial sectional door with wicket door
In industrial facilities, wicket door mounted in the door is a very practical solution. It allows to enter the room without having to open the door. The service door does not visually differ from the door leaf and are fully consistent with the design. Automatic industrial doors are supplied with a wicket door opening sensor as standard. It prevents the drive from activating when the service door is open. Along with the classic plain doors, our offer includes wicket doors with glazed profiles. We can also supply service doors with a low-profile 25 mm high door threshold.

Door panels are offered in two types of surface finishes: smoothgrain and woodgrain that imitates cut cedar. A properly selected structure could emphasize the aesthetic qualities of the product and provide excellent visual effects.

Glazing in industrial doors
As may be required by industrial facilities, steel panels in sectional doors can be replaced by glazing units, which let significantly more light into the rooms. Glazed sections are made of aluminium profiles filled with multiple glazed acrylic panel. The modular design of Nitus industrial doors allows our customers to have total freedom in deciding on the final appearance of the product. It means that the number of glazing units, their shape and arrangement depend on the customer’s preferences. Door components, as well as both aluminium and steel panels can be combined and painted in any RAL colour.
